Clovelly

the manifestly ‘picturesque’ village of Clovelly – once they fished for fish, now, like everywhere else in North Devon and Cornwall, they fish for tourists. but it was a fabulous three-mile walk along the clifftops from Mouth Mill to get there – and the prawns-in-granary-bread-rolls and Tangos we had whilst swinging our legs from the edge of the breakwater down there were worth every penny.
